    FIRESTONE

Firestone worked out the complete roofing system with use of one layer EPDM membrane. System consists of large size membrane sheets, gluing tape, glues, leak stoppers, cleaning agents, ground coats, fasteners resistant to corrosion, finishing flashings and remaining materials necessary for roofing execution, designed and produced in such a way to guarantee the top quality.

Roofings – thermally weld able – bituminous

First roofing papers were produced as card board strips saturated with bitumen. They were produced in their natural form and such a material was not enough resistant to UV radiation. It was flexible only in the range of temperatures 0 – 70o C and practically inextensible.

At present, producers of thermally weld able roofing papers succeeded in practical elimination of almost all disadvantages of „old” roofing papers.

• Material does not require preservation and thanks to the application of special scattered slate is resistant to UV radiation.

• Thanks to the application of SBS modifier, it is flexible in the scope of temperatures from -40oC up to +120oC.

• Thanks to the application of polyester insert, it is stretchy up to 40%

So, as we see, practically the name of old roofing paper left without changes.

At present, application of modern roof solutions requires thorough knowledge of roofing technology.

Bituminous thermally weld able materials are used also as hydro-insulation on concrete and steel bridges, roads, railways and roofs of parking spaces.

There are several dozen of solutions for thermally weld able roofing. Below, we present several solutions most popular in use.

• REPAIR OF OLD ROOFING ON INTERLAYER OF PERFORATED ROOFING PAPER.
